This page will provide you with some of the basic questions that you may have.
What is it that you do?
This is the most commonly asked question for both myself and my clients. It is difficult to try to explain what type of work that I do, as it is different from anything you have experienced so far. I consider myself an energy kinesiologist and so we do a lot of muscle testing throughout the session, but we have access to over 300 different techniques that we have at our disposal to provide you with the best experience possible.
Do I have to get undressed?
This is entirely up to you. Since the work performed does not need to have you undress, it is your decision depending on your comfort level as to the state of undress you will be in. This style of work is beneficial for those who are in pain and may have a difficult time removing their clothes, or are just feeling uncomfortable with removing their clothes. It is always important to me that you feel completely comfortable throughout each session.
What is expected of me during each session?
Upon arriving, we will discuss what your expectations are during this session and how things have felt since you left the office last. Once the session starts, it is your time so it is up to you as to whether there is talking or silence. You are completely in charge, so don't hesitate to ask any questions that you may have, or let me know if there is any discomfort while performing any of the techniques.
What is expected of me after each session?
Upon completion of each session, it is important to take care of yourself. You must increase your fluid intake (water or juice), and take it as easy as possible for the next 12 hours. This time allows your muscles to get used to the new patterns that have been put in place, and to rehydrate yourself so that your body can accommodate the changes as smoothly as possible. After the first 12 hours you can get back to business as usual as long as it feels good to do so.
What if I fail to drink enough water?
If you choose not to drink enough fluids after leaving the office, your body will have a toxic environment in which to try to heal. Typically you will be in more pain due to this decision, and you will feel much better if you drink some extra fluids.
How many sessions are required to get the results that I am looking for?
This question is hard to answer as it depends on how long you have been dealing with your symptoms before coming in to the office. We are used to the McDonalds approach for everything and want the quickest results possible. You will feel a difference even after the first session, and then it is your decision as to how we proceed. I typically do not tell you how often you need to return, this is left up to you as you know best how you are feeling, what kind of time you have to come to the office, and any other factors that may play a role in your decisions. Always remember that your pain did not get there overnight (unless you physically just injured it), and your pain will not completely go away overnight.
